President:  Matt Clark

Matt Clark is a seasoned information technology professional with over 19 years of experience and is currently a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer at Netskope. He has been a CSA member since 2013 and previously served on the CSA Southwest Chapter Board as Co-Director of Events from 2013 to 2014. During the past 5 years Matt has held a consultative role helping fortune 300 companies increase their security posture, reduce risk and maintain compliance while securely enabling business. Prior to taking a consultative role Matt managed and lead teams to successfully complete projects in various technologies such as security, networking, virtualization, identity, storage, database, web and support/operations. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in addition to several certifications.

VP Membership:  Denise LeClaire – CISSP

DeniseLeClaire has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry.  Her experience includes Operations Management, Vendor Management, Regulatory Compliance (Financial Industry) and Data Security specializing in Cloud Computing and her education and certifications include a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, CISSP, and ITIL.

Denise has expertise is in ISO and ITIL frameworks; focused on the governance of these frameworks within organizations, and vendor management programs, including policy, standards, guidelines and procedures creation. Denise has also worked with the adoption of vendor risk assessment programs within organizations, to assess risk of third parties within regulatory guidelines.

VP Finance:  Susan Snow

Susan Snow has 15+ years of experience in Technology Audit, Third party Management and Regulatory Compliance (over 10 of these in the Financial Services industry, and 4 with a Big Four firm.)    Her “specialty” is an overall understanding of General Computer Controls, and how these are impacted by business processes.  She holds education in business, including an MBA in Finance;  additionally, she has achieved these industry certifications:  Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Events Director:  Jerry Crow

Jerry Crow has over 45 years experience in the information technology arena.  He is currently a private consultant specializing in digital forensics, cloud security, information protection and cryptography.  His career in information technology includes experience with mainframe operating systems, formal work with software engineering and software metrics; line management of a software development group; work with local and wide area networks including routing and switching; and system administration level experience with every major flavor of commercial UNIX and Linux.  His recent focus includes cloud services security, identity theft prevention and cryptology.

Crow is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, the ACM, the IEEE, the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), the Cloud Security Alliance, Arizona InfraGard, and a senior member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).  He is a graduate of the FBI Citizens’ Academy.  He is chair of the IEEE Computer Society Phoenix Chapter.   He holds the certifications CISSP, GSEC, GCFE and GCFA.

Dave Clyborne is a proactive IT professional currently hunting for his next position where he can bring his 20+ years experience to bear. He has ISO/E 27001 and 9001 training and has worked in a number of industries including automotive and healthcare. He is currently pursuing his Ph D. in Information Security and Assurance from a National School of Excellence. He joined the Board taking over for Marley in 2017.

He is a member of ISSA, ISACA, ISC2 (to name a few) and works with law enforcement and CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams). He is currently pursuing CISSP, PMP, CEH, CASP, CCSK and Security+ certifications and currently hold certificates in several others.

Marley Day is the owner of Techese, LLC, a technology company in the valley. When asked about her role, Marley said, “My passion is efficiency engineering utilizing technology. I visualize the overall organization down into the people working the processes and recommend changes that meet the individuals at their current skills while encouraging their growth. It is my greatest joy to see the expressions of those who have been freed from drudgery and watch their passion flow into their position as they attack the mountain of projects that move the organization forward. It is my goal to architect automation so that minds are released to envision and produce more, thus creating a higher return on their investment.”

Debbie Christofferson has more than 20 years of enterprise security management and leadership across Intel Corporation, Apollo Group, and the State of Arizona, including Asia and Europe.  She co-founded Arizona’s Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Chapter in 2013.  Debbie is also a long-time leader for ISSA’a Board—the international Information System Security Association where she is a Distinguished Fellow.  Debbie facilitates the CISM Exam Preparation workshop for ISACA locally, since 2004.  She speaks and writes professionally for our field.

Rich Phillips has over 20+ years of progressively challenging experience in enterprise environments in Cloud, Virtualization, Network, Security and System design. This includes program management, procurement, deployment, troubleshooting, management and performance monitoring. Experienced at leading teams of engineers and consultants in the successfully deliver strategic solutions that meet the business goals. An interactive leader, who integrates team building across infrastructure & software disciplines to ensure user experience, is captured to deliver products successfully and on time.
