Securing Google Apps 
Does your organization use Google Apps? Join us on August 13 to learn about issues in securing Google Apps. The talk will cover a variety of high-level issues including access control, identity management, forensics, security monitoring, and compliance. We will also cover practical and applied issues, such as specific security features within Gmail, Google Drive, and other apps. If time permits, we will also look at some tools designed to help you be more efficient in your security tasks.

Hovik Manucharyan has over 15 years of experience in the field of cloud computing and information security, and has held various in most phases of the information security lifecycle. Currently he works at Fonality as Director of Application Security. Prior to joining Fonality, since 2003, Hovik was founded and managed Linkgard, a company that specializes in information security, cloud computing, Google Apps, and software development. Hovik holds a B.S. in computer science from California State University, Northridge as well as a M.S in information assurance from Norwich University. His current interests include the application of machine learning in security.

Visitor parking is available on site on parking level 1. Look for the signs that say “Visitor Parking.” Bring your ticket with you so we can validate it before you leave.  Entrance to the parking complex is available through the Cloverfield Boulevard entrance. Once you park, take the elevator from the yellow colored elevator bank up to the 1st floor. Walk to the security desk and tell them you are here for a the Cloud Security Alliance meeting at Cornerstone onDemand.  Please bring a picture ID with you.
